LOCATION.--Lat 41°50'45", long 88°20'57", in NW1/4NW1/4SE1/4 sec.20, T.39 N., R.8 E., Kane County, Hydrologic Unit 07120007, on left bank at bridge on Deer Path road, 1 mi. west of Batavia, and at mile 2.9.

DRAINAGE AREA.--27.6 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1998 to current year.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 685.00 ft above sea level.

REMARKS.--Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Effluent from sewage-treatment plant 5 mi upstream averaged 0.4 ft3/s during the year. The maximum average was 0.6 ft3/s in April, and the minimum was 0.2 ft3/s in September. Recording rain gage and gage-height telemeter at station.
